Honeypot Hill Publishing was conceived out of Reina’s inspiration to start writing stories for young children whilst she was in hospital recovering from breast cancer surgery. She had an overwhelming feeling that something good should come out of her situation and she is delighted to announce the release of her first book, SKYLA AND THE SNOWFLAKE FAIRY.
Reina’s daughter is her inspiration; not only for ideas but also due to her daughter’s love of books and their precious story time together at bedtime which they are never allowed to miss!
Many of Reina’s stories deal with issues and situations which she and her daughter have experienced personally, and she hopes that they will resonate with many other children and parents.
Honeypot Hill Publishing aims to create beautiful rhyming stories about life experiences seen through the eyes of young children. The intention is to help children develop self-belief and a deeper understanding of the experiences they, or their friends, might be going through.
